I grew up in central Illinois and coached freshman football for a year before moving to Texas. I am married to my wonderful wife Cindy and we have two awesome kids, Madeline and Joshua. I have coached little league baseball and last year I started coaching in Fort Bend Youth Football League. I have enjoyed coaching at Bowie Middle School with a 3 Division Title and 2 district runner ups in football and 1 district runner-up in Basketball. I am very excited for the upcoming season in football, but also coaching Basketball and Tennis at Bowie. Go Bears!
D. Vader Head Nuke-em Coach Team Handball Offensive Coordinator
Once a heroic Jedi Knight, Coach Vader was seduced by the dark side of the Force, became a Sith Lord, and led the Empire's eradication of the Jedi Order. He remained in service of the Emperor -- the evil Darth Sidious -- for decades, enforcing his Master's will and seeking to crush the fledgling Rebel Alliance. After suffering a crushing defeat, Coach V decided to try his hand at coaching middle school nuke-em. He has experienced a high level of success using his menacing motivational tactics and extreme team discipline. He considers classroom management his strongest aspect.

This is my 10th year with FBISD. I have coached Football (4 years), Basketball (7 years) and Track (5 years) all at the middle school level. I have coached two division champions in football and multiple individual district champions in track and field.

This is my 6th year with Fort Bend ISD. I have been privileged to coach and mentor student athletes ranging from 3rd Graders up to High School athletes. I have coached football, basketball and track and I thoroughly enjoy watching my former players develop into positive role models. I’m looking forward to working with next year’s student athletes and making success a standard at JBMS.

I am a Texas A&M Graduate, class of ’88, with a degree in Applied Math. I first coached in Bryan, Texas during the early 1990’s. I have been married for over 20 years to my wife Priscilla, we have two children, Meredith and Dylan and currently attend Sugar Land Baptist Church. I was also a business owner for over 10 years and look forward to using my past experiences while coaching this year.

This is my second year with Fort Bend ISD. I received my first coaching experience in Baton Rouge, LA, coaching various sports. I enjoy working with children and teaching them all I know. I have the privilege of joining Bowie Middle School’s coaching staff and look forward to working with the students. Hobbies: Working out, cooking, spending time with family, eating pizza & watching LSU and Saints football.

Greetings and welcome to Bowie Athletics! As the 7th grade girls assistant basketball coach, I am eagerly awaiting the upcoming basketball season. My coaching experience at the middle school level includes both basketball and track and field. During James Bowie’s inaugural year, I had the wonderful privilege of coaching my team to its first District Championship title! My goal as a coach is to instill in my student athletes a TEAM philosophy (Together Each Achieves More) for this is the essential ingredient necessary for success.
